Returns, Cancellation and Faulty Goods Policies
RETURN - Non Faulty Goods / Product Not WantedWhen you make an online purchase you have a statutory right to return goods (other than perishable or made to order/customised goods) up to 14 days after receiving your order.
If you wish to return your order you must contact Sean Hennessy Electrical Superstores in writing or email rathkeale@seanhennessy.ie with the order reference number. The goods must be in an ‘as new’ condition and returned in the original, undamaged packaging, along with any accessories and free gifts received with it. Any item that has been opened and/or the packaging damaged are subject to a restocking fee of up to 20% of the total cost of the item.
The product must NOT have been used, installed nor had any data inputted. DVDs, CDs, Memory Cards and Software must still be sealed. We are unable to offer a refund or an exchange under this policy on the following goods once they have been removed from their packaging in the interest of hygiene:, headphones, headsets, haircare, menscare and electric blankets. Kitchen appliances where installation has already begun and Gift Cards. The order will be exchanged or refunded upon receipt of the goods.
Any items returned will be fully assessed by a member of staff before any refund is completed.

RETURN: Faulty / Damaged Product
We take every care to try to ensure that your purchase arrives at your door in perfect condition. However on rare occasions a product may get damaged in transit.
If you do receive a transit damaged product then you need to contact us within 24 hours by e-mail to rathkeale@seanhennessy.ie or by phone at 069 64332. Please ensure that you do not use the product.
RETURN: Product Appears To Be Faulty
If you believe that your product may be faulty then please:
• Check all connections to ensure that they are securely in place
• Ensure that you have read the trouble shooting section of the manual as it may be a common fault that can be easily resolved
If you cannot resolve the problem then you can either bring the product to one of our stores along with your receipt or e-mail us at rathkeale@seanhennessy.ie and we will advise on how to proceed.
*Please note that for large kitchen appliances, an engineer will need to come to your house to assess the faulty product.
REFUND POLICY
You have TWO options on how you can receive a refund from Sean Hennessy Electrical Superstores:
1. E-mail us firstly to rathkeale@seanhennessy.ie, quoting your order number and then send the product back to us at our Head Office. Once the item has been assessed and all is in order, we will then give you a full refund for the cost of the product plus the delivery charge paid if it is a faulty/ damaged product. (The delivery charge will not be refunded for Non Faulty Goods / Product Not Wanted)
2. You can return the product to one of our stores. You will be required to produce the receipt and also the card that you paid with, so that we can refund it.
Note: Refunds will take 5-10 working days to be credited to your card. We cannot refund your purchase if the seal has been broken on any Memory Cards, Software, DVDs or CDs.
CANCELLATION
We can change or cancel an order up until it is dispatched from us. Contact us IMMEDIATELY by e-mail at rathkeale@seanhennessy.ie. Once the order has been dispatched you must follow our returns policy above.
