Lavazza A Modo Mio is a capsule coffee system developed by the renowned Italian coffee company Luigi Lavazza S.p.A for making espresso in home espresso machines which have been specially designed to use this system.
The capsule is inserted into the machine and the upper foil of the capsule and the bottom get pierced in several places. The brewing process starts. The preheated water from the attached water-tank gets pumped through the pod with high pressure, entering the ground coffee through the previously made holes in the upper foil and after flowing through the ground coffee exits the capsule through the bottom.
